Harsha dedicated 22 years of her life to working in the finance sector, but her inner calling has always been to offer support to those in need. During her free time, she finds solace in extending a compassionate hand to those who require assistance. After thorough consideration, she founded Sterling Supported Living, a company aimed at providing aid to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health concerns, autism, and challenging behaviours. At Sterling, the goal is to provide personalised support to help each individual flourish.
The company is driven by the mission to positively impact people's lives by offering tailored support that addresses their unique needs. Harsha and her team strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to realise their full potential, and they are wholeheartedly committed to making that a reality.
Lucy has over 14 years of experience in Social Care, where she has worked tirelessly in both the children's and adults' sectors. Her compassionate nature led her to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in the adult sector and with Ofsted in the children's sector. Lucy has over 14 years of experience in Social Care, where she has worked tirelessly in both the children's and adults' sectors. Her compassionate nature led her to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in the adult sector and with Ofsted in the children's sector. Throughout her career, Lucy has dedicated herself to working in residential care for both children and adults, and she also managed in the community care sector for 18 months. Her true calling lies in children's residential homes, where she devoted a decade of her life. Starting as a carer, she gradually progressed to more senior roles, finally becoming the registered manager. Her unwavering passion is to uplift the lives of children and young people in care by thinking innovatively and providing them with the best possible experiences. Lucy has her Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s workforce and also her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adults Social Care and Children and Young People.
Furthermore, Lucy is a qualified trainer, who has spent numerous years delivering training and conducting company inductions. She has been a source of support for individuals with a variety of conditions, including Challenging Behaviours, DOLs, Autism, Self-Harm, Dementia, End-of-Life and Palliative Care, as well as more complex conditions like Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson's. In her own heartfelt words, she says "I believe my true purpose in life is to work within the care sector and improve the lives of others."
